I narrow my sample size by basically only riding tech trails

    Astute observation good sir
Right on. Sounds like simple over generalization based on minimal experience. Got it, carry on.

    Never! Haha

I think I'll end up being buried in that truck at this rate.

Thanks!! I am planning on the Bun Burner Gold since I felt like I could have done it this past time. It just took a lot of planning and preparation so not sure when I'll try it again.

Yeah I think the angle of the picture makes it look tighter than it is. I just had it up to 50+ mph and no issues. It's a little slower to accelerate for sure, but I've picked up 2-3 mph on the top end. I will have to throw in those variator weights at some point.

I'm also looking at intakes to clean the air box up, but at that point I'd probably need to rejet the carb.

I literally have a set of the MNNTHBX jets sitting on my work bench, I should have thrown those in the box I sent you too :annoyed:

Ooh ,if you want to unload them let me know how much you want for them!

I may be dumb and get the $120 Navi intake (unless you know of a cheaper alternative).

Last year I started going down the rabbit
hole of a DIY intake (which is why I bought the jet kit) but decided it wasn’t worth it. It’s basically a couple couplers, a pipe, a bend, and a pod filter, like not exactly rocket surgery. But having to fab it all and make a bracket to hold it up and everything the $120 started to look better and better.

Are they all on those fancy electric bikes as well? What the heck is the point of riding a mountain bike if you don’t even have to pedal?

See how fast and sendy you can get on a 35 pound bike. Way more maneuverability than a bike with a motor. Less weight under you means that going 15 feet through the air at 25 mph feels way scarier than the same on a dirtbike. Plus you really have to force the bike around more.

This is what I came up with:

    IMG_8588.jpg
    IMG_8586.jpg

Underneath the stock tail is a pretty decent looking steel skeleton. I painted that black, bolted half a universal tail tidy (the plate, plate light, and turn signal mount portion) onto it and then crudely put the turn signals I had planned to put on eventually on. Literally just got back inside from finishing that up then doing a quick little 1/4 throttle rip down the street. Muuuuch louder than stock. Tomorrow i’ll work on a high flow baffle to hopefully tame it a bit.

    I’ll have better pics tomorrow!

And here’s the full side view:

I have black monkey side plates/peg holders/rear sets that are mid sets/whatever you want to call them to go on and get rid of the passenger peg and delete a bit more silver

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Get one…brappp
