Your talking about a trd kit or re branded 5100 lift which is not the same lift as the taller spring on the Trail or the Fox lift on the Pro. Yes they remove it because of some state laws but getting back to the topic of the Trail and the Pro fog lights. So back on topic I doubt they are removed because of the taller spring. They build it without the lights to begin with. Its not like they are on there and then removed, so explain why a Pro which is taller than the Trail keeps it fog lights.

You can either use a plastic tool or a screwdriver just put some tape so you won’t scratch the paint. The easily pop out.

Did you end up taking off the bezel covers to install fog lights? Any good way to pry them off without breaking the plastic? Did it come pre-wired?

Yes, those are for the fog lights. Here are the part numbers you might want to buy; 9008087026 Fog light relay, 8211404010 Wire engine room (Toyota will say it's the wrong part but is the correct one) 9016750063 tapping screws (2). If you are keeping it OEM you need to buy this 841400R010 Switch Assembly Headlamp Dimmer. Fog Lights I leave that up to you.

I’m sure you can go with any fog lights you want. I bought everything through a Toyota Parts on the Web. Is been a while but for me at the time I did it was around 690.00 but I did it all myself and kept the 12 months warranty from Toyota. I haven’t had any issues. The dealerships quoted me around 2,200.00.

690 is not sounding too bad. Oem features would be a plus too! Just might have to buy the parts have someone install them
