Well this one was…is rough. 3 days in and I’m not sure if I can describe the discomfort of the recovery process. But I can see and that is what is most important. Field of vision has changed dramatically…not perfect but it won’t fully settle in for 3-4 weeks. We will know more then.Things are a little blurry and the strain on my eyes is causing all the little capillaries to rupture so won’t spend much time online. Just checking in. @Cwopinger i am so glad to hear that both the little ones are home. Such a blessing. Stay Well…Stay Safe

Last week was great, I was cutting large sections of the stump. Today has been a challenge. The roots are like steel. I sharpened the chain because I though something was wrong, even looked to see if I put the chain on backwards. Managed to cut out a 2 foot section of the tree. And it's in the 90s today. Maybe I will head to the toy store.

 

Sounds like we’re going to have to blast!

 

I'm going to take the rakers down a little get a bigger cut. Nothing crazy but a little more.

 

Be careful with that.

 

An 8 pound bottle of this stuff with a long wick tucked under the stump will move it out.

 

Watch for kickback if you take them down.

 

I'd maybe line out my cuts with some bar oil (pour it on). Maybe do a little test and see if the oil doesn't soften it up over night. Probably won't but you never know.

 

You can never go wrong blowing things up. Well not usually, but sometimes..

 

Not going too far, in fact I didn't even check if they are above the cutter

I now realize this is NOT the hobby I want to try. $180 to $250 for the bigger sets?
And it was only 15%, not 50%.

They had some boring ones and some camaro and Ferrari and batman vehicles.
