I have em sitting out in the sun, waiting for my friend to wake up and we are gonna ratchet strap and cheetah them on.

then off to costco for balancing.

No other Costco in Conus will want to touch those tires

 

So they absolutely will not mount them, 100 percent full stop. But balance pulls the liability out of it. I'm just gonna bring em down for a balance.

 

I didn't know those kinda tires are balance-able at all lol. My redneck buddies would balance their swampers with a bunch of airsoft pellets

 

33 yokohamas, should balance fine. Plus im throwing em on welds which I've never had a problem with.

That air cooled piece can barely move under its own weight

 

By modern metrics I'm sure it's nothing crazy to write home about but you wouldn't be buying it for that. Mid '60s turbo versions were around 180hp. It's just a cool little car with nice lines to me.
Beat Porsche in the 1960s SCCA apparently, they seem to have done well back then in some races.
