Ahhh that definitely doesn't help lol. Their kit replaces the e locker motor with a lever to activate it manually by cable

That was a big project, but new front end is looking rad.

Yeah, I have waaay too many hours into this. For some reason it was much more difficult for me than the rear bumper I made for the 2nd gen.

But it looks sweet, and kept it as tight as possible. I definitely improved the approach angle, which was my main goal. Especially with the shorter radiator. Now to build a new skid to match...

yeah bumpers are no joke. Doing Mikes didn't make me want to make another haha

Reminds me alot of Timmy's bumper he made though, he also was able to keep it really tight like that and did the hybrid thing.

I’m gonna be making a lil trip to go pick these up for my 99! I’ve always loved this design, from the early 5th gen 4Runners, but they’re hard to find. There’s no reason to think these won’t fit my 99 Taco, right?

    Thanks!

If I charged enough to make it worth my time, it would be a very, very expensive bumper.

Needless to say, I'm not about to get in the bumper business.

They'll fit, but have a little less offset. Might want to run spacers, especially if you're running larger tires.

Right on. I have zero experience with spacers, is anyone here able to make a quick recommendation on a quality set they trust? How thick can a spacer be before it starts affecting the safety, and do your lug nut torque values change? I'm such a noob!

Spidertrax or Bora in 1.25” are the most common and are good quality.

They fit! You may need spacers depending on tire size. To clear the sidewall on the UCA with 12.5" wides I am running 1.5" spacers. With Loctite and torqued to 80ft/lb the spacers have never been a problem

    Re-do my Lower shock mounts
Replace speedometer sensor (so I actually have a speedo again)
Replace motor mounts with solid (poly) mounts.
And fabricate new steering with Total Chaos Lower ball joints and replacing the inner and outer tie rods with Clevis and Heims.
