What’s up TW members. New member here needed some help identifying these wires in the engine bay of my 2023 Tacoma Trail. Wanting to run some fog lights wondering if any of these 2 connections are for the fogs?? Your help would be greatly appreciated hence this being a new truck not trying to hack up the wiring & void any warranty.

1st pick is near fuse box
2nd pick right under hood latch

Top picture is a junction block for the CAN-BUS system.
Bottom is the fog lamp harness from engine bay relay/fuse box. Missing is the harness to the fog lamps.

Thanks Really appreciate the intel. Can that harness be used to run a switch for fogs to turn on off?

On your left combination switch, do you have the FOG light switch. My stalk is marked and rotates forward for on or counterclockwise from the driver's door; if not you might be able to purchase the correct one. Does your under-hood relay/fuse box have the FOG fuse and relay? If so, you might even have the complete wiring harness to the combination light switch, even though you may not have the switch. You will have to open up the steering column cover to see. Your second picture is of connector EN1.
    See attached schematic:

Nope, you don’t have the switch. You didn’t mention if you checked the fuse box for the relay and fuse. If they are not present check to see if the contacts for both are present. Of course you can do your own discrete switch too, but the fog lights would not go off when the high beams are activated. A good curtesy measure. What makes me think you might have all the engine bay and cab wiring in place is that I recently discovered I had the power wiring for the sunroof and I have no sunroof. That wiring stops at a connector halfway up the driver’s side A-pillar.

The missing harness goes to the fog lamps. You need to verify if connector C11 that goes to the light stalk has the fog circuit wires. (blue wire and white with black stripe), also fuse and relay add.

OP, since the fogs only turn ON after selecting parking/tails lights, you could have the blue wire tap into the tail wire (green) on C11.

But you are lucky the pins to the relay are there. Just add the relay.
Have you checked the connector to the lights stalk at the steering wheel?

2 screws to be removed on the steering wheel covers. With engine ON, turn steering until you see the a screw, one on left, one on right. Remove bottom cover. Take a look/pic.

Everything in the thread linked above.

I can do a harness from the fog intercept to Deutsch for DD or weatherpack for BD but most just buy the Oem harness and use adaptors.
