Anyone done this? What’s the best way to wire in Toggle ON (manual)?

I reached out to DD and am awaiting a reply
I have their aux backup lights that claim the switch can turn them on stand-alone, but mine never has. Not sure if the relay came bad or something. I don’t think there’s much that can be messed up following the instructions.

would be great if I could figure out how to make the truck thing reverse is on, without actually being in reverse
To occasionally make use of the aux backup pods to light up a campsite etc

yes. Ssc1 version. But for whatever reason manual override doesn’t do anything

    it’s pretty weird
    Above says put in I
I makes them red and not white in reverse

says put in II for manual override
    which doesn’t
They’re red then white in reverse in II
So I leave it in II

Suggest contacting @memario1214 from Hotshot Offroad

He is a vendor that handles DD products and I'm sure would be willing to give guidance.

You'll want either a SPDT switch, or a SPDT relay with your choice of whatever switch (opens up availability for switches that fit the factory switch blanks)

Power out to the lights goes to the Common terminal (which is usually used for power in, but you're wanting to switch between power supplies, not switch power supply to different devices) Power from the backup light switch goes to the NC terminal. Then add a (fused) power supply to the NO terminal, either constant or ignition-on, depending if you want to be able to use them without the key on.

I wired mine to a SPST switch center off. Factory set to one input and center off all the time and third position is manual over ride

Did you use the vehicle specific harness that taps in behind the tail light?
