We used B&B for our fridge. It has a Mountain Dew drawer. We love that damn thing. I think it had a small ping/dent on the side but was new otherwise. No big box store fridge met our needs compared to what we got.

Regarding a washer and dryer. Speed Queen FTW. Usually get those from smaller appliances places. I think B&B has them IIRC.

Didn't know about B&B - that's my next purchase place. I'm a get the cheapest dryer (they are so simple) and an LG washer. Have had both front and top load. Hmmm....phrasing. Top load let's you keep the door open so as not to grow mildew without blocking a walkway.

Have had good experience with both Home Depot and Spencer's. Probably inclined towards Spencer's as I like to support local, but employed local people are local.

I will never buy a Maytag again. Replacing the unsealed bearing was not a good experience.

Now I have to know what a 'Mountain Dew drawer' is.... hahahaha!

I've heard great things about Speed Queen. I've also heard that the newer washers don't hold a candle to the ones that were less water efficient. It would also be nice to have a color option...

Apologies if there is a thread already but was looking for some tips…
Taking the family to Monument Valley, can anyone suggest some good camping spots around the area that are pet friendly? I’m reading that places don’t allow pets because of sacred land. We are okay to if it’s dispersed camping.

I've always stayed at either goosenecks or valley of the gods which are further away but much more peaceful. Friends have stayed at gouldings but not sure about pups there.

Monument Valley is Navajo land...the only places you can camp (that I'm aware of) are The View, KOA, or Gouldings.

There’s a small strip of BLM lane around Mexican Hat. Otherwise yep have to keep on to Valley of the Gods or Mulley point for BLM camping.

Well I got to hit the garage pretty good over the weekend. Did a front end rebuild on a employees chevy. Then got the majority of my sleeping platform carpeted and stained. Tonight I will clear coat it and start building the drawer. Do need to wait on a few parts from the Amazon to show up but will all be done hopefully by friday and ready for the cherry creek trip.

Gove monument valley a miss and go to Valley of the gods up near Mexican hat for a few nights, could also camp up at Goosenecks state park too.

Valley of the gods is a 12 mile long gravel road, we drove our 25ft TT about 4/5 miles in. We camped under rooster butte away from the road, had to 4wd the TT up there :)
