Taco TRD 4 Door Crew Cab Frame same Size as Prerunner 4 door crew Cab?

Looking for frames still came across one but it is a TRD sport crew cab, mine is a prerunner crew cab assuming the bed length is the same would the frames be the same fit as well ??

 

Only thing that I know that’s different is suspension components. I may be wrong but I believe frames are the same

 

I believe location of the crossmember for the transmission is different but thats easily overcome.

 

This^ the rest of the stuff is in the same spot.

 

Thanks, does anyone know if a frame is for a short bed will it still attach ok to a crew 4 full door cab ?

I have a 4 door crew cab and long bed but the frame i can buy is a TRD sport possibly but has a short bed on it.
I would think everything from the cab backward would be the same especially if both frames go on crew cabs but the bed length is the only difference.

 

TRD sport DC and Prerunner DC should be identical frames unless TRD sport is 4x4 in which case the trans crossmember is different as mentioned previously.

 

What about the difference in bed length one being short and other being long?

 

I believe the frame lengths are different between a short bed 4 door and long bed 4 door. Short bed is a ~127" wheelbase, while the long bed is a ~140" wheelbase.

 

yes i expect that what I am asking is if i take my long bed off but use a frame thats made for a 4 door short bed will it still work with my 4 door cab without having a long bed attached. Basically put the 4 door cab ONLY on the frame made for a 4 door short bed.
Understand what i mean ?
