What’s everyone’s favorite upgrades to do to your 1st gen tacoma

 

New tires and brakes after Lower Ball Joints Timing Belt if needed on the 3.4

 

Stereo, sound deadener, seat time to improve driver mod

 

Tundra front brake rotor/calipers with steel braided lines is #1. Trans cooler #2. Scangauge #3. Front hitch, wouldn't do again. Getting the skid plate off is a real PITA now.

 

In my 98: upgrading to an 01-04 center console.

 

1. Haltech with the Supercharger
2. Harrop Front Lockers with 4.56 gearing
3. 4XInnovations Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier

 

It was either the Tundra brake upgrade, or my front and rear E lockers with 4.88 gears.

 

Raptor lined fender flares
Bucket seat/center console conversion
A-pillar oem handle

 

LED dome /map lights. I'm easily pleased.

 

Some don't have this?

For driver side no, some do not.

 

How you loving that haltech? Nice difference? I just ordered mine.

 

A fancy Alpine headunit with Apple Play & backup camera have really helped the 'ol girl keep up with the times. Maybe I'll get a fancy rear view mirror next. I'd love to get a supercharger (after all these years) but just bought a house, so that's probably not gonna happen.

 

Probably my Corbeau sport seats. My stockers were so worn, they made my back hurt after 20-30 minutes of driving.

The Haltech is awesome. Really added to the trucks midrange power. I just added a 2.1" pulley and will need to install larger injectors, but I can't wait to get more powa! Do not let anyone convince you that the stock injectors are sufficient with the Haltech. Get larger injectors as the stockers will lean you out.
