Well apparently they no longer sell the OEM ball joints for 2nd Gen lower control arms. Tried Rock Auto, online searches and finally called a couple of dealerships and no dice. So which one does everyone think is the best replacement, Moog, Detroit Axle, TRW, Movtec, an/or the high end ones from Extreme Terrain?

Helms are the move, but I hear great things about Moog.

I was under the impression they just weren’t available in the U.S.
unsure of the reason. Someone sold a pair here in the marketplace less than a month ago, he stated the same about US availability. Not sure where he picked the up. Had part#
43330-09510. He might be able to point you in the right direction.

Wow. Dropped 10 years worth of coverage. Yet 1st gen is still possible.

Since we know that much 3rd gen suspension fits 2nd gens, I wonder if anyone has tried the LCAs or ball joints........ hmmm.

One of the mounting bolts (I think rear) is larger on 3rd gen. Won’t bolt up unless you want to drill out mount.

Thanks for the part number. Only available from overseas for what I can see. Glad I am rebuilding a spare set. They are getting very costly (about $50 each) and that was with a lot of looking.
