One of our dispatchers used to wish as "Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers out there." shortly after midnight. Interestingly, at the time we had no women on the night shift.

 

A heads up to saltwater fishermen, in the event you haven’t already heard the news. The slot size for Striped Bass is going to be reduced. The new slot will be 28” to 31”, along the Atlantic seaboard.

Anyone near Newbury (or wants to drive in) that wants to lend a hand with construction in June will be paid in beer and food. I'm gonna put up a floating 16x24 one room to live in for the next 2-3 years while I do a cabin with plumbing. No specific dates yet but some time in June.

Most of the labor will be hauling in the lumber and concrete, with a couple walls to lift after a few days of cutting and framing.

 

I agree with this totally. Now we should worry about the poaching

so I've never been but a group i go with on a lot of trips has gone several times. Tim the owner has (had?) A gladiator he beats the shit out of back there. He owns a ton of land behind the restaurant and they cut a bunch of trails. It's always just lined up that when they go, I'm not able to. They've gone like 4 or 5 times now and I've missed them all

It's worth going. Definitely not a glorified parking lot. From what I've been told it's been doable stock but slow. And some stuff isn't.

Just brought him over to the vet, still shocked more than anything. He was hanging out with us just last night
