Seat covers

Got a tear in the bolster on the drivers seat. What is everyone doing to fix this? I like the stock seat material. Can in be recovered or just buy the bottom piece? If not what covers are good? Thanks for any input

 

You can get the covers and the foam from Toyota, but break out the credit card, seat covers for now a good set cost you a couple hundred bucks and not have to worry about anything

 

I have seen a lot of Tacomas, and FJs where people stitch it back together.
And then putting a generic seat cover on it.

 

We probably have at least a half dozen good threads on the subject of Gen 2 seat covers. Give searching a try if you're interested in previous seat cover discussions.

What color are you seats? I'm getting ready to change my covers to leather in the next month to 6 weeks. I have Tan interior and have had seat covers since the first 4 weeks.

This is what your looking at new, better off trying to find some one that has put leather on or go to junk yard. Junk yard will cost half as much as new and maybe not last.

It should fit my base model, reg. cab truck but I'll do some further research before buying.

Neither one is the correct material. I think I’ll order the one I posted and slowly change all of them. It looks like the SPORT/OFF ROAD material. My seats aren’t in that great of shape.
