    Don’t bet on it.

You’re in an extremely small camp of people that would want such a configuration, as am I. We barely comprise a data point in a Toyotas market.

Maybe the Pro will be available without a Sunroof now.

    Me neither.

    Yep, my thoughts too.

Surprised no one camped out in Moab looking for Toyota semis, to get some spy shots.

I think this was just a photo shoot, could even be just they photoshopped the trucks in there. But I don't think they'd do a reveal in the dark.

Not so much the reveal, referring about getting spy shots over the last few months. You know they are going to be out there doing photo shoots. Even a local might of spied their trailers rolling into town. With drones now, could easily grab some spy shots.

I see all kinds of factory race rigs come through here all the time, though doubtful they would have “Toyota” plastered on the side of it if they are trying the keep things under wrap.

Could be photoshopped too, hard to tell what is real and fake anymore.

The black roof is perfect if you live in Alaska. Pretty idiotic for everyone else. Who will be the first to invent a color changing roof/paint, black for winter, white for summer. I want that for my house.

And some people like all black vehicles! You would be surprised how many are running around AZ. My mag grey Taco isn’t much better. wasn’t my first color choice either. Pickens are slim with the SR trim. White, black, silver, mag grey or Barcelona Red. Already had a white vehicle for 12 years, over it. Don’t like the Barcelona red or black. Wanted silver, and mag grey is what I got. Sharp looking color, but does get hot in the summer. Seek out shady spots to park.

That would be a hilarious curveball. I would say snowball's chance in hell mainly for all the outrage it would cause to put a BMW motor in the "bulletproof" Tacoma.

There's a chance because Toyota did it to the "bulletproof" Supra with the B58 engine linked above. Everyone screamed and yelled but in the end that engine is making ungodly amount of power 1000+ whp reliably too.

Better chance of seeing a 3 cyl turbo mated to 6spd auto.

I think the Tundra engine would be more likely. Even though there I think there's only a 1 percent chance..Wish they would make like a Pro R with the Tundra engine one could only hope.
