I lost my license a while ago after I got pulled over for "Suspicion of Mischief" cause I was driving around with a deployed airbag.

So I have been 'driving' these bad boys for the past few months.......

I'll have to post a pic of mine. It looks like it was in an accident, as I haven't remounted the front bumper. Waiting for the American taxpayers to pay for my aluminum gussets. I hope to have them this week. That and I may buy more goodies at the expo. Ive been debating a winch, but I wanted Warn's USA-made unit. It's not only more expensive, but it is also only found in small numbers in the wid with duckbilled pachyderms.

@TailHook Thanks for the campsite recommendations on Cherry creek. Unfortunatly the only way to drive through is if you have a narrow wheel base. Gold creek crossing should be closed for some sketchy shit. The shelf edge on the exposed side is crumbling away as we creeped through. NO fun, and every corner was so badly washed out with deep holes. Memorial campout might have to relocate..

Yeah, it's been super sketchy there for a few years...there is another route east of FR203 that goes north (FR202 intersection 33.77174, -110.81971)

I think we should still take over the campsite we had planned.. Just make it a two night deal and spend a day hiking around and exploring. We can still drive the road quite aways before it gets bad.

Some folks put rocks and logs on the trial a turn before the bad part if you are heading up from the south. We didnt see the truck hood on the other side warning us about the spot. Was already too late and turning around wasn't an option.

    Nice rigs guys.

In response to @KingOfTheNorth question about my move to AZ from HI…

2020 was a really shitty year for us in too many ways so we decided once things calmed down to take a road trip for a few months and move to AZ somewhere near Sedona. Bought the TT Nov ‘21, travelled from WA to AZ via the coast and a few places and when we got to Sedona and realised it’s a crazy busy and noisy place and wasn’t for us. Lost we decided to keep on driving, the Mrs, dog and I convoyed for some 7k miles through various states and ended up spending the winter of ‘22 back up in Bend, OR. At the end of a shitty gray and cold winter a friend said his rental property in Goodyear was open and here we are having spent 18 months in the TT and towing some 8,300 miles.

Oh yeah we’re still lost and trying to figure out what to do with life…

Finally after 2 years gave the wife’s car a detail, mine is still to be done…

Can’t get only 12mph if it’s on jack stands most of the year.

Edit: and then lucky to get half that when it’s not on jack stands

Still have the one in my avatar (quarter million miles and counting) -

And a blue one. The little one in the yellow shirt still likes to hang out with mom and dad every now and then, but drives a Soobie now.

We were camping over Super Bowl weekend at Stateline CG, hiked Wire Pass and Buckskin Gulch. Had the CG to ourselves. Washing hands when the water jug is an unflavored slushy isn't necessarily fun, but the rest of the trip was amazing.
