I went to significant expense to have the sliders I made blasted and powder coated (Fast Lane in Ashland.) As hard as I am on things, powder coating doesn't make sense. Everything: bumper, rack, sliders are all trashed scratched and rusting. POR 15 is my next play... It can be brushed right?

Not sure about OTT but KDMaxx is either Minneapolis or Grand Rapids, MI (he comes to Chicago, was there a week ago). And for the record, I couldn't be happier with my KDMaxx tune.

Yes you can brush it on but you should put something over it.

POR is a primer type paint not a top coat.

And a little goes a long way, my buddy did the hole underside of his heep with two of the little cans.

My Milwaukee angle grinder is 40 years old this year! I guess I've gotten my money's worth.

Sorry to hear you're having such a hard time. When I ordered my slider DIY kit from BAMF, they had been having problems with UPS destroying the boxes, losing parts, even bent one tube! Being complete sliders, it wouldn't surprise me if they did ship T-Force as the package would likely be too big and/or heavy for parcel.

I've gotten to know a few T-Force drivers and some of them have absolutely shitty attitudes, a couple are professionals even though their management seems to make their working conditions worse than they need be. Like any business, that kind of thing goes through all phases of the business and shows itself in areas like customer service and quality/care. T-Force isn't the lone ranger when it comes to service, I've heard some amazing stories about a couple of other big (national) carriers.

Also, since it appears they were the f$ckup, there is no way they should be trying to charge you for a re-delivery. Liftgate charges are usually automatic with residential deliveries and were probably already built into the freight quote (it would surprise me if it weren't). You may want to check with RCI on that.

Mine works great, it's gotten really noisy...the gears are pretty worn. I took it apart and cleaned/re-greased the gear drive a few years ago but it didn't help much. Not going to complain though, I can't begin to tell you how many hours that thing has been used. (Or how many times it's been dropped, kicked, had shit dropped on it...it's had a hard life)

What’s the difference between the M18 and the M18 FUEL lines, other than price?

Fuel = brushless motor. They have more power and better run time.

Definitely go Fuel whenever you can. I think the only non-Fuel tool I got was the Sawzall that came free with the kit. Still better than the older corded model we have at work.

I also follow this thread for general reviews and a heads up whenever there's a decent deal. I like that there's honest reviews and it isn't all praise. Every brand is going to have niches they're excellent at and others that they fall short in. Just the name of the game.

When I was finally able to get a number for the local Milwaukee depot, I finally got to talk to someone who was actually actively trying to help me. As soon as I stated my name, she said "ah, yeah, the RCI shipment." She was on it, having other sites trying to locate it. She had pics and knew the weight was 225 lbs.

Interesting to hear about T-Force from your perspective. I don't get many freight shipments and the last couple were from small carriers several years ago, don't recall the names. RCI had added on the $75 fee for lift gate delivery. At checkout I recall that they stated FedEx freight delivery too. I was a little confused by that and will have a few questions after this gets resolved, but they are aware of the snafu T-Force has caused.
I just want my sliders... :annoyed:

The brush you use will only be used once. POR 15 is impossible to clean. I used a chip brush. $10 a dozen. If you need a few I can mail them.
