I have not seen that movie in 25 years. I remember it when it was in the theaters and had to see it. Was so disappointed in seeing it again. It wasn't as good as I remembered and special effects are very dated.
Really enjoyed Tom Hanks in Life of Otto. Its one of those movies it just keeps getting better if you can stick through the first few minutes.

I feel this way about a lot of the movies I loved as a teen/young adult that I try watching again now. When I was 19/20 I loved that movie The Crow, must have watched it two dozen times. Watched it again some 17 years later and wished I had just held on to my memories of it lol.

    side note, RIP Brandon Lee.

The cinematography in The Crow was iconic for sure, that kind of grainy/high contrast film LA Noir backdrop was incredibly done. Peak 90s gritty film making, awesome soundtrack too. Still listen to it regularly

The sequels were so bad though

I think part of the hype and mystique of The Crow was that Brandon Lee died in the filming right as he was getting to the peak of his career, which kind of created a buzz/bummer all at the same time. I agree that the cinematography was cool and that the movie hasn't aged particularly well, although I didn't think it was that great around the release either. and yes, great soundtrack!

Apparently they are coming out with a Beetle Juice 2, Directed by Tim Burton and much of the same cast. Hope it turns out good!

yeah, they were. Soundtrack was on point.

I enjoyed the second one just for Iggy Pop. His death was too funny.

The Crow is still awesome to me.
Got to see Henry Winkler and Sally Fields in Hero's recently.
Loved the movie in its day but didnt seem as good recently.
    Sally Fields kept me interested.

Just started The Silo on AppleTv. Really enjoying the post apocalyptic dystopian thing. Was wanting more after the first 2 episodes so I got the audio book and binged it over the weekend.

Also just watch Jury Duty on Prime and really enjoyed it. Semi reality tv show about a guy who thinks he is doing a documentary of jury duty but everyone else is an actor.

Still love it! I find most of those 80's movies, tho dated, better than the recycled crap of today.

This one started OK, then seemed to improve on that and then just go to complete blabbering bullshit. I will finish it. I think.
