If you only remember one thing this old dumb phkr told you, time is fleeting/ ephemeral. It only goes one way. You can dilly-dally, make plans, spend money, etc.but never actually do anything memorable. You can always make more money, but you never get your time back. It’s a precious commodity. Use it wisely! Make shit happen! Then talk about it for the next 50 years….

Work every single day you possible can, fall over dead three days before your retirement party; the one with the shitty cake, old men in slacks and wrinkly women with blue hair. That way the government can use (what would've been) your social security to hand out free phones to the lazy bastards delightful men and women that willingly choose not to pursue employment.
