    Bone stock so far!
I picked up some old FJ Cruiser wheels in great shape, including the spare. Took a little roadtrip out to Nebraska to grab them, excited to see how these look :D

    Although... For the record...

Now that it's not the daily driver any more. Once I get done with the rear axle and finish the front (with the Solo spindles and hybrid RCVs) it will be getting upscaled from 35s to 37s.

37s are as big as this truck will get (but of course, that's what I said about 35s) :anonymous:

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Silas did it years ago, there was barely a bottom door hinge left

Sounds like a headache. Just some of the things that would get in the way of that off the top my head: Steering column extension, longer fluid lines, possible diff interference with oil pan, etc.

The stock flares will be eliminated. I'm trying to come up with an idea where I can do a tube, bent in a way that looks good, that either goes back to attach to the frame in front and back of the tire, or attaches from the bumper to the slider. I've seen some ideas that have come from the exoskeleton book that may be able to be worked in. Not sure about that yet.

I do not want fiberglass, because I think it looks stupid.
I don't want to go without some sort of flare because dust and mud.

Pulled my skid plates to clean some mud collection and saw a vacuum hose disconnected on my transfer case. Not very obvious where it should be connecting, so time to hit the tech manuals!

100%. I want to be able to sleep in my RTT.

And jesus... with LT right now WITH the stock flares... it's already a bit of a mess.

I just committed to the LT and stock fenders for the same reason. Stock flares barely did anything so I guess I'll just live with my consequences of having over half my tire stick out past the fenders

Lmfao... If I come up with a flare situation that helps, you'll see it here.

For the record lve been running 3.5 LT with 1.25 spacers... so I'm pretty far out there.

Oh damn. I'm running a 1/4 inch spacer to have my wheels clear my brake calipers, but that's it. I'd have to measure again, but last I checked I was at 82 inches in overall width from outside of the tires.

I've got a lot torn apart right now. I think I may ditch the 1.25 and get some 1/4s when I put it back together. What 1/4s are you running? Just parts store?

My wheels are 4.75. I'm worried about the UCA but have been too lazy to properly check clearance.

Just some cheap aluminum Amazon ones. My trail readys are 4" backspacing and I still have a decent amount of room between the UCA and spindle .
