Hazy sunshine this morning. Smoke in the air from wildfires up in Canada.
Yesterday's visit to the flooring/countertop store was . I think we have the countertop picked out.
The floor ? Just trying to imagine all of this is , both the refrigerator and dishwasher are being relocated.

Good morning everybody!

 

havent shared this routine with you guys until now. since this is a fun & old fart thread? why not?

we currently have 4 dogs.
Poppy= aka Bossbitch is a 4yr old English Bulldog. 50lbs of muscle & go
Browser= aka HeavyDuty is a 2yr old English Bulldog. 65lbs of comfort.
Sam= aka Himbo is a 2yr old Golden Retriever. 125lbs of goofy.
Lola= aka Miss Longbody is a 6mos old Basset. 40lbs of adorable.

usual routine:

roll out of bed, open the crate doors for the dogs, rub heads, tell them how great they are for making it over night with no "call outs".... go to the door, make everyone ring the bell to go outside. treats issued. they do their biz while i do my stretches.

back inside & they wait patiently while i take my old man meds with a glass of water. more adoration from them as they are actually prepping me for their brekky. ok its been 15 mins. fix their foods & put it in their crates. (crates are a happy, safe space here.. good things happen to those who crate. NEVER a punishment) they sit & wait on my boss dog to eat, then they start. after this its back outside! cause these guys are conditioned to when it goes in... something goes out right after.

now finally after herding them back up & inside its been long enough now that 'i" can eat.

next the Bullydogs & Basset curl up on the couch next to me while i get my morning run thru of websites done. the big goldy is on the floor licking his nuts, as usual.

once ive ran thru our WeaponsGuild site & taken care of all the overnite problems & so on that being an Owner/Admin has to do... its time to check in HERE! where i can be just one of the Members, instead of The Flaming Ban Hammer of Doom.

soon my "play time" will be up & it will be time to get to work here on the never ending projects.

We have a flock of Ducks, of various breeds, that visit us every day. My wife started feeding them a couple months ago, it went from one docu, to now about 10, and 3 Guinea hens as well. Some of the ducks have recently started taking shelter under my truck. Well, today, my wife took a pic of two of them sitting atop the basketball backboard next to my truck. My theory is they are pissed that I move their "roof" all the time, so they are thinking about shitting on my truck from a higher seat
