Thanks to @hyrule_trd I picked up these RCI sliders for a bargain price. They are powder coated and have the top tread plates.

There’s a grey area. You were not in that area on this occasion :spy:
Lol. Maryland is a dump. Delaware ain’t much better, but I would choose it over MD.

I have an auto trans. I believe that a lot of the performance loss I saw on-road was because it was a really beefy mud terrain. I don’t think I will see the same loss in acceleration/braking/MPGs with a 33” all terrain tire. We’re gonna find out soon lol

It was still very drivable and pretty good on the road, but I’m hyper sensitive to that type of thing because I do sooo much highway driving with the truck and not a ton of mud. So the trade offs just weren’t worth it for me personally.

If I just DD’d the truck a short distance every day, the MT’s would have been fine. But for cross country stuff I didn’t think it was worth it.

    @Just_A_Guy

I'm from SoCal/LA and have transitioned to this urban/suburban scenario quite well since 2006. (Retired Military)

Everyone comes to our Delaware Beaches though, so it must be on the higher end dump! lol

Delaware summer traffic is the worst.

Correction, Jersey shore summer traffic is the worst. Delaware is 2nd, but it’s not all that close :D

Yes, let's move on. I will just say that the only reason I hit the 'report' button was because another member seemed to be upset about the images as well, only I didn't know at the time that you and him were just having some good natured fun back and forth. I felt bad afterwards after knowing the whole story a bit too late. I've enjoyed meeting some really great people from our regional forum and always looked forward to meeting more. I apologize to everyone if I have made this place feel less friendly, it was never the intention.

A bit of history- the area that makes up Delaware was at one time a part of MD, as well as the northern border being so much more north that Philly was actually located within the MD border. The land was sold to the state of Delaware in order to fund some infrastructure within the colonial settlement areas of Baltimore, Annapolis and Frederick. The PA/MD border, that's what brought Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon from England to mark off the boundary.

    Hence the Mason-Dixon line.

This area has lots of history...Delaware, first to ratify the constitution.

The states and the dates of ratification are listed here, in order of ratification:
    • Delaware: December 7, 1787.
    • Pennsylvania: December 12, 1787.
    • New Jersey: December 18, 1787.
    • Georgia: January 2, 1788.
    • Connecticut: January 9, 1788.
    • Massachusetts: February 6, 1788.
    • Maryland: April 28, 1788.
    • South Carolina: May 23, 1788.
