Hopefully it comes even sooner! Mine came a lot sooner than the estimate.

 

DragonPro’a data and the Toyota App defn work. DragonPro said it would be at rail yard then on truck for delivery 17May. App popped messages this AM doors were unlocked and the odometer is moving. I assume it will be in the dealer lot tonight or tomorrow as the rail yard isn’t more than a days drive. That’s just under two months deposit to delivery and the build occurred after deposit. All rail transport, no ship. The ship transport seems to get into the big delays.

@Cetacean Sensation Looks like you are going to win the race from Benicia! Pretty cool - I'm really happy for you.

I got a phone call this morning from the local dealer - they are now showing a date of May 23rd for arrival of my truck in Houston. They also show rail departure of May 12th, which pretty much aligns with the info that @DragonPro23 gave me on Monday. The GST date makes a bit more sense than the June 06 date from Dave's info, but we will see. The funny thing about the call was that the GST info they have has been so inaccurate that they wanted to corroborate it with what we are seeing. Looks like it is finally coming into agreement.
Now, with a LOT of Tacos arriving at GST in Houston in a week, the question is how well they will be able to process them and add the things that they wanted us to get...

Getting closer! And, thanks to Dave, we still seem to have most of our sanity...

It would be awesome if my Tacoma showed up to dealer on May 22nd which is my Birthday. I'm assuming my tracking information is lined up with yours because it was on the same ship and being railed to same place. Regardless, it's one hell of a birthday present lol

 

I ordered my Wind Chill Pearl Tacoma Sport last July. Still no build date. Found out that someone ordered the exact same color and package to the exact same dealer in the area. It's getting built right now. "He probably doesn't want it" was the quote from the sales rep. Should I wait, buy his, or will I be stuck with the unproven 2024??

 

Don’t jinx it! Every stage of this has taken longer than it was supposed to. Haha

 

Lots of movement on my Toyota app (mileage/unlocked doors) the last week and the tracker shows it in freight finally! Very frustrated with my dealership/salesman. Have asked them to please let me know if there’s movement, and they continue to promise me they will email or call once a week. Haven’t heard a word from my sales guy since I put a deposit down in early March.

I got the same thing and should be right on 8 weeks time. I have little idea why. But I put a deposit on a dealer listed allocation (listed on dealer site with a temp VIN). That might be key. Search dealer sites for listings of their allocations anywhere and everywhere. Since I put a deposit down there are a lot more listings around here. I’ve seen about 4-5 WCP tacomas listed in the whole state during the last two months. I’d search every dealer listing in your area you can while keeping your name in the vehicle you mentioned.
This whole process is a cluster f-.

 

Got a notification this evening that my doors were unlocked and odometer now reads 5 miles. Here's to hoping it finds its way onto a car carrier in the next few days!
