    Tforce is an LTL carrier/3PL. Used to be UPS Freight until Tforce bought it out. LTL is just a fancy acronym for anything too big for UPS Ground to take and usually palletized and smaller than a volume/truckload shipment( Less Than Truckload). I think recently they set the max weight to 150 lbs for UPS Ground.

    Like Cisco said, LTL is less than load, if you would have shipped LTL with say TNT or another shipper that usually means they have better control on shipments.

    You said it was on a pallet it probaly got pushed into a corner cause it didn't fit on the conveyer and the kid didn't know what to do with it or somebody decided it would fit better without the pallet and one went this way and the other went that way.
    Happens alot with bulk stream freight like UPS, Fedex.
