Favorite Whiskey?

Nice, I live about 45 minutes from there. I have all their stuff. I even have their ORGANIC gin and it is the bomb! I drink it straight up and I HATE GIN! They have a regular gin also which is the one I won't drink.

JD did a limited release SBBP Rye in 2020 that many critics still say is the best whiskey they've ever had.

Just based on the quality of the SBBP Bourbon (Sorry, TN Whiskey), I'm excited. Having another easily findable ~$60 barrel proof slapper is always welcome.

Air fryers are the shit. Had a great dinner and followed up with some Buffalo Trace from the fancy decanter with the fancy ice.

 

Wife and I love doing Salmon in the air fryer. Quick, easy, and delicious. Cheers

 

ive noticed when i air fry some fish the skin gets so crisp, cant remember what we baked but the skin just pealed right off and was almost like a potato chip sort of crunch was so good

 

Tried some Whistle-pig Rye at a fancy Ramen bar today. At first seems a bit strong and maybe thin compared to the darker ryes like Basil Hayden. I don’t know if I would buy a bottle of it, but a shot is nice

 

Whistlepig is an absolute mess. Different strains are sourced from different places. Some US, some Canada, multiple different distilleries in each. It's a complete crapshoot on what you're getting til you read the bottle.

Combine with their aggressive pricing, I stay clear.

 

awe explains why I've never had a consistent flavor, always seems to taste different from a try before. has some from a few places an always seems to be different.

 

I've picked up 2 different bottles of the same label (WP15) and flipped over to the fine print to find one distilled in Indiana (MGP) and the other in Canada.

Hmmm, you have me intrigued. I'm from Ohio, also live in Denver, and have yet to try this. I will put it on the list.
