If the AC MT OR was good enough for us Canuckians, it should be made available for Americans.

Both of them Tundras that were posted were 22. Has anyone heard how the 23s have been. I really don't pay much attention to the Tundra news.

There is a recall for some of the 22s on the rear axle. I would say the the 2023 I bought is significantly tighter (dash noise, door trim, and seat pieces) than a 2022 I looked at buying while waiting on my allocation. Add in the early issues from vendor quality control on turbos and other new parts, I wouldn’t sweat having to wait for the Tacoma I want to be allocated vrs being an early adopter of what the dealer gets that isn’t exactly what I want.

Yep. They deleted the strap, and left the original attachment point. Some new hire in the accounting dept got a big raise for that idea.

It's been a long time since I owned something non Toyota so I really don't pay attention maybe Jeeps but it seems like Tacoma ownership is kinda like a cult. Even if the Raptor was 20k less than a Pro I still wouldn't buy it.

Raptors hold value actually for a Ford, right up there with Broncos. My dad had a 2014 Raptor only lost $4k over a 4 years of ownership come trade, his 18 he lost nothing and gained $2k on his trade for his TRX. But generally agree, reason the wife and I have always bought Toyota / Lexus.

supply vs demand. less raptors = more value. doesnt mean its as reliable. what year did he trade it?

I never said it was reliable bud, not sure where you get that, we were discussing resale and residual value. Raptors hold their value, always have. His 14 in 18 (pre covid demand), his 18 in 21, and both trucks got above 60k miles w/out a single issue besides some squirrels eating engine covers. One of the more highly sought after vehicles since introduction and never discounted or heavily.
