    I thought I'd give it a shot before going to the trouble of dismounting and cleaning the carb on my 2004 Vulcan.
    A lot of people swear by it :notsure:

    Pretty sure the float is sticky and the idle jet is partially obstructed.
    Single Keihin carb (which has been almost completely trouble-free for all these years)

    Also, have you ever tried mixing acetone with gas to clean out the fuel system?
    Acetone most certainly will attack gummy deposits.
    I've known about that one for years, but wonder if the acetone would be too hard on anything made of rubber.
    Particularly given the age of the bike...

    no sir, i stopped using sta-bil products after the 2nd carb overhaul on my "stationary anymoar cept in deer season" 98 yamaha atv.


    i use star tron. has done me well for the forty foo stroke injected merk..sheeza 2002..
