Well, dealership called yesterday and said they had a gr corolla come in, and I said I'd go see it after work today. Then this morning they called again and said it was actually a gr 86 premium. So I guess I'll go check that out and see if it gets me feeling any kind of special. I know it's the car to beat in autocross currently, but I really wanted the corolla for the adjustable diff awd.

Sounds like your dealership doesn't know what products they sell. Sad.

They definitely don't. When I bought my tunny the sales guy (really nice guy but not a car person) had no idea what it had for basic options, if it had the two package, or anything. It was literally the only Toyota truck on the lot when I bought it. No Tacomas or other tundras anywhere.

Well I'd have to trade in the tunny to get it. Do I really want to settle for second best when I wanted the corolla? I'm going to check it out and do a test drive to see if it tickles the pickle. I don't want another vehicle that sucks my soul when I'm in it. (2014 corolla I'm looking at you)

    Nothing wrong with a Corolla.

    You need a big truck…

Try and drive that gr down the road you work on.

Luckily I don't work at that sawmill anymore, no off pavement travel for me at this point. I can use the Tacoma for just about any "truck" stuff I really do minus towing a car trailer. But that's the point of the gr, not having to tow it.

But no truck to carry them. So you’re stuck on the side of the road. Or in a parking lot. Lol.

I've got the Tacoma, and the service body utility trailer. Also AAA and a '76 midget for the backup backup.

Just like the last flight from "Blue Thunder"... Helicopter pilots enjoyed that movie, and commented that flying one that overloaded would be difficult, if not terrifying.
