Looks great  I'm glad I went with 0 offset as well (17x8.5). It fills out the fenders nicely.

Yeah was pretty easy all things considered, just the looming fear of breaking an interior trim tab and finding a tidy spot for the excess wire, but it all went back together fine. PLUS I found my 10mm hiding in the trim that’s been missing since I installed the remote starter haha.

that cubby came stock on the earlier 3rd gens. Not sure why they disco’d it but it does gather water and road grime. I put a little weather stripping in there to minimize it.

It depends on what grill you have. The pro style grill should have 3 bolts holding the sensor, 2 on the sides and 1 on top. My grill has 4 bolts that hold the tss in place.
I took my face plate off and put an angle finder on the sensor to see if it was pointing up or down. It had an upward angle so I put washers on the bottom screws to aim it down.

What I have read, people just put one washer at a time until it stops giving errors, mine seemed better after just one washer.

Toyota should be able to recalibrate properly. From my understanding the recalibration is just telling the sensor what areas to pay attention to since the sensor has a very wide field of view.

    This is the Way.

You can get it off ebay but it used to be standard until.. 2019? 2020? No clue why they took it away.

Are those stock steel rims? If not, what kind are they? I really like the look. Do you have any photos of the truck from the side with them? Thanks.

Picked up a used 1up RakAttach. Then proceeded to drill some holes in it so I could have it mounted closer to the bumper. The new hitch pin holes I drilled brought the rack 2.5" closer to the truck.
Now I can finally get stuff from the bed without taking my bike off.

I couldn’t find any good looking ones. Those solar ones was painted weird. Where did you get that one from? I stayed on Lahaina.

Once washer at a time…….took 2 on mine
Toyota dealer will gladly recalibrate for ya……for MONEY…….(@$450)……….originally did not want to because even thou my TRD grill and Garnish were OEM, my Tacoma Sport was not TRD

2 washers, works great, last a long time

Yeah, I suspect it’s just a production thing. Getting all of the adhesives to a Goldilocks level has to take some work. Wouldn’t take much one way or another to cause an issue. The next set they send might be perfect, who knows?

The "V6" and "D<4S” lettering I bought from TVD Vinyl Decals worked out great, but they use a different method to attach them and cost a bit more. They look good, but TVD is a U.S. company so they don't sell the Toyota logo.

P.S. I know this a terribly small, inconsequential thing. Just like it to look its best. ;)

Is accutune shocks worth it if you don’t have a lot of stuff on your truck ?

Custom shock tuning is always worth it.
