Are those stock steel rims? If not, what kind are they? I really like the look. Do you have any photos of the truck from the side with them? Thanks.

Picked up a used 1up RakAttach. Then proceeded to drill some holes in it so I could have it mounted closer to the bumper. The new hitch pin holes I drilled brought the rack 2.5" closer to the truck.
Now I can finally get stuff from the bed without taking my bike off.

I couldn’t find any good looking ones. Those solar ones was painted weird. Where did you get that one from? I stayed on Lahaina.

Yeah, I suspect it’s just a production thing. Getting all of the adhesives to a Goldilocks level has to take some work. Wouldn’t take much one way or another to cause an issue. The next set they send might be perfect, who knows?

The "V6" and "D<4S” lettering I bought from TVD Vinyl Decals worked out great, but they use a different method to attach them and cost a bit more. They look good, but TVD is a U.S. company so they don't sell the Toyota logo.

P.S. I know this a terribly small, inconsequential thing. Just like it to look its best. ;)

Is accutune shocks worth it if you don’t have a lot of stuff on your truck ?

Custom shock tuning is always worth it.

With the renewed discussion on bed stiffeners, this makes me wonder how much the bed flexes, and if that flexing would ever be an issue with a hard tonneau cover (i.e., would it flex enough to bend a panel or break a latch)? Or am I just paranoid. I do go off road but nothing extreme. My truck has sliders, front skid (on the way), but no lift if that gives an idea of what I'm willing to tackle.

You could put a load of mulch, wood, cement, firewood, etc., in there one day and that could bend your bed walls. Then, the alignment on your tailgate to your bedwalls could get offset. Then you would be wishing you had only installed the bed stiffeners. I bought mine yesterday, delivery next week. :hattip:

How easy is it to get retuned though when you add another bumper or winch etc

I don't have any weight above my truck bed and it's empty most days, but I put the TC stiffeners for additional tie down points and increased structural rigidity when flexing the suspension. Chose them because they fit perfect and cover the most surface area. Very easy install. To my surprise the rear of the truck seemed to ride noticeably smoother after adding them; can't really explain how or why - wasn't expecting it.

$1400 for a new composite bed from Toyota when yours bends or cracks + whatever body work costs to get everything installed and realigned or $150-$200 for stiffeners that have multiple benefits and install in a half hour, take your pick. :)

You just send them back and tell them what changed. I've had my ADS retuned twice, nbd. They covered the first one, I paid for the second. I believe Accutune is the same.

First, drove home from WA to AZ on leave to drop some things off at my parent's place as I expect to have to move, possibly overseas this fall.

Then I put on my Apogee Offroad Bumper that has been sitting in their back yard for about a year and a half now. It's been too long since I have come home, the stock bumper was ripped off wheeling in Montana. So I now have BSM and Rear Park Assist again for the first time in over two years.

Mounted a new to me, SSO bumper with stage 2. Anyone know of a deal on baja lights? Also looking for recommendations on how to make an oem switch.
