Thanks this helps. The ECO-led site says the wireless wall switch can become unpaired and re-paired, but I haven't been able to re-pair it (the lights still work, just can't adjust them). Might as well just buy a replacement for both to ensure it will work.

    Thanks!

Hi everyone! I'm in the early stages of possibly purchasing a Kimbo and this thread has been extremely helpful. I know I've read several posts where Kimbo recommends E-rated tires and airbags, but I'm curious if anyone is running the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System (SES) on their Tacoma instead of the airbags. If yes, can you provide me with some feedback.

Also, I can't decide if I should purchase the fridge and sink package or should I build my own? Seems like a pretty hefty price tag for these options. Thanks everyone :)

    No Timbren here.

The kitchen sink question is a personal skill/time answer - if you want to just hop in and camp, you'll lean toward the prefab...but if you're a DIY with the time, skill, and vision to do it yourself then you'll lean toward building your own.

I'm not super skilled but was able to come up with a passable solution for the price of a leftover sheet of plywood and some screws, just be aware that some results may vary.

This was posted recently in the WA/Oregon truck spotting thread. Found up in Mt. Vernon. He needs some springs or bags by the looks of it. YOHB? New camper, perhaps?

This is an early Kimbo that was modded within an inch of its life and then put on the market within a year.

My DCLB has a payload of 945lbs. No matter what I do to upgrade the suspension that plate in the door jam will never change

Going to replace the LED strips soon. Do you remember how many feet you used @Profloundering? Thanks!

No but I can check when I get home tonight - and don't forget the wire connectors between each strip (I wouldn't use the old ones).

Picked up a 10-32 tap to help clean out some of the old Thread Compound of my Rivnuts (not sure what the correct fitting are called) I didn't need to drill any out beforehand but some have loosened and I'll have to be reseal those on the outside . Worked great, hopefully the thread compound issues are being worked out .

Has anyone had to deal with a squeaky floorboard? Any easy fixes?

New Kimbo owner here. Does anyone have plans to make a dolly (out of wood) for the Kimbo when not on the back of your truck? Thanks in advance.

Have not had any issues with squeaky floor boards...are you referring to the entry board or the laminate/insulation of the main area?

I don't have any plans to make a dolly but I'm sure that Kimbo would share their specs on the dollys they use in the shop, have you seen those?

Laminate/insulation of the main area. In the same regard, has anyone taken the floor out to replace it?

I have replaced ours - we had a catastrophic porta-potty incident last year (found on post #1711).

If you have any specific questions that are not addressed in the following posts - let me know.

Hope everyone is gearing up for Summer. Been a pretty wet spring here in CO. A lot of snow to melt up high. Just finding some time to check in before summer break, teacher life.

I made a simple stand/support for mine. It basically keeps is stable when off the truck and at a height that make it quick to load so I don't have to spend time raising and lowering it. I just used stacked pallets with casters underneath. I still support the front end with a stand too.

That looks pretty darn cool. Yes, I did talk to the shop but they sent me the metal dolly plans. Thanks everyone...I appreciate your comments on here.
