Copy that, thanks for the reply. I figured it would be just wanted to confirm with someone too. Planning on doing the doors when I replace the speakers here soon. I’ll do the rest of the cab when I have more time.

but yeah apartment living sucks if you're not lucky and don't have cool neighbors. One place I shared with my dad after he and my mom split up...was a nice apartment in a good area but had an old man living alone next door to us. He would freak the fuck out if you so much as made a peep walking by his place, or going up/down the stairs. He actually threatened to kill me one time for it. Was so happy when he moved out lol.

It's a LC Prado, and I read somewhere they're basically a 3rd gen 4runner with a different body, so that'd be pretty much the same as a Tacoma.

oh yeah forgot about the Prados. Not sure, I frequent a pretty active 3rd gen T4R page and I've never heard anyone talk about interchangeable parts between them but it's also not like they are commonly in the same areas.

I really like the styling on the 90 series. The 1KZ diesel seems pretty sweet too, when it's not cracking heads.

What year Prado? Cause I'd believe it just the way the GX470 is the same platform as a 4th Gen 4Runner.

Older Land Cruisers are where the money's at, and reliability and off road worthiness.

Have you been able to test out the ATRAC in the 100? I suspect it might perform better than lockers in some situations, like a very slick slope or shaly section.

Yeeahhhh i anticipate he still will do some dumb things, especially since he's almost 4 now. He doesnt hiss or swipe, pissing is his defense sadly. Dude still has a testicle in his belly tho, which will cost me more--- why i waited.

The second night at the new spot i let him roam, he peed so much at the back door it soaked through the rug, went around and hit every door, and even my desk at the end. (was dribbling by then, mf). The tail shaking thing happens when i pet him, weirdly he does that then. (but "kneading the dough" makes bro horny too which is weird)

Only thing that bugs me about the cat, otherwise he's a peach like u said

Does you butt dyno say it works?

I've thought about it, if for no other reason than to just make the door heavier so it shuts more solidly

It’s just a theory, but I’ve seen videos of twin locked trucks just spinning all four wheels and struggling to get up a slick clay slopes. Maybe the ATRAC would be able to modulate power better in a situation like this to find better traction instead of the brute force of lockers. Of course lockers will be better for “rock-crawling” and the like.

The door definitely sounds sturdier when you close it. That's probably the biggest gain. It helps a bit with road noise and speakers are less boomy so they're clearer but also quieter which is a mixed bag

I dunno, in this hypothetical you might need wheel spin to clear mud out of the tires to have any chance and getting a grip
