I think it would serve you well to join a 4x4 club and get more experience with how different trucks, with different setups perform in different terrain.

Exactly. You don't see someone tip toeing through muck on bloggers haha

    Oh for sure

That's $10 in paint, $15 on lights, and about $30 in steel. Rest is labor and profit.

But he never stated what he paid, budget, etc lol just came in saying it wasn't what he wanted or discussed

To be fair, he could've said "no more than". I've rejected jobs that had ridiculous budget requirements...maybe I should've taken one up and done a similar job

Not yet I don't think. But it may be working and I just don't know its happening. I'm trying to stay out of the deep mud until I finish moving everything. When I pull back the plastic for the pinch-weld mod, there was no evidence of mud or dirt behind the liner. Some guys have looked at and said they doubt that its ever been off-road. One of our member's wife nailed it I think when she said lit looked like it had belonged to a petite female pharmaceutical rep that ran up a lot of easy miles. Near as I can tell it lived in an area around Syracuse Indiana and most likely did a lot of driving to Indianapolis.

I've been out with a bunch of ATRAC 100 guys and the front locker was necessary to keep up with them.

    Yeeeeep

That reminds me of the annual "why arent there more 1st gen aftermarket bumper options" post which is self explanatory by the same people saying they wouldn't pay more than $500 shipped for a bumper lol

I got a nicer custom rear bumper than that for my Tacoma for $125 lol. Granted it was 7 years ago and the kid that made it was maybe 20 years old

One of our lighting packs at the studio stopped working, at least this one didn't explode like a 12 gauge in a small enclosed room when it went. But Samys says it will cost more to fix than it's worth, oh well. Gonna print this out and slap it on there, stuff it in the back of storage

A long time ago I lived on the 19th floor corner apartment of this building in Jersey City. A sculptor lived in the floor above. The bedroom was the corner with the big window. The sculptor would wake up at 2:00 AM and start chiseling on some work. Drop the hammer on the floor and make all kinds of noise.

yup, noooo thank you. And a big no thank you to those kinds of high rise living complexes, I know some people dig the hustle and bustle of urban city life but not I
