FWIW - I did by fuse at first and didn't like that they were only on with headlights - at least the fuse I picked. So, I went with a T-harness from @daveeasa that taps into the factory DRL/Parking lights so that the grill lights are on all the time, which is my personal preference.

Dave makes an awesome product, nothing but great things to say about them.

If you take your Tacoma overseas, you may have some issues with warranty, parts, service. Others have experience in this, but I have read about issues due to EU standards VS US standards.

Did you install them yourself? I figured most people have their suspension professionally installed for liability reasons so I wasn’t sure how you go about sending them in

Yes I do everything myself (other than alignments and tint, mostly). I don't trust other people to work on my car. I don't even want to take it to the dealer to have the bubbled Qi charger replaced. If you're not doing your own installs it would for sure get a bit more complicated and expensive.

Since you have DRLs, it seems you could hook up to that circuit with a harness. I think the referenced maker/member makes them custom and you could ask. Another member local to me made my harness for my grill lights and included a lead for backlit fogs. They understand the wiring (I don't really).
And I still think the SR5 is a dang nice truck :). It just has fewer toys.

That would be great. Is the kit you used a Toyota part? Thanks for the help

Yes there's a TSB for the Qi charger, I just don't like people touching my stuff lol.

The suspension install on these trucks is pretty straightforward including replacing the UCA's, doing the Hammer Hangers got a little violent though.

About to open a can of worms on this one.

Honda Odyssey is in the shop and they gave us a loaner. Must say it looks sharp next to the Tacoma.

Looks like they took the odyssey and chopped the back... Everything looks better next to a Tacoma

The plan is to leave it with the parents for the time. No need for it where I'll be.

They need to run it a little, just to keep things lubricated. Transfer case and both differentials can lock up if left idle. They do not need to off-road it, but 10 miles a month they should take it out after a good rain and run it on a straight road in 4WD. The rain is because transfer case and 4WD tries to run all wheels at same speed, it is designed for slipping in other words. Any slightly slippy surface in a straight line will reduce strain on each corner trying to distribute power and still keep gears moving.
