Interesting the Pro is available without the tow package.

It's meant to be a desert runner. If you want an overlander you go with the Trailhunter to tow your camper.

Looks like 14” on the OR, Pro and trail hunter. Likely because of the multi terrain camera system.
“And with tons of available cameras installed on the new Tacoma, TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro, and Trailhunter drivers can view potential obstacles that are looming on the trail via the Multi-Terrain Monitor that can display crisply on the available 14-inch touchscreen”

Totally agree. Seems like the Pro is now a pro and not just an SR5 with options.

God I hope not. OR is the trim I'm after but a screen that big is just obnoxious unless it rolls up like one of these: https://www.lg.com/global/lg-signature/rollable-oled-tv-r

    Highlights as I see it.

    1. Pricing TBD (not today) and MPG TBD (not today)
    2. Aluminum up high for weight reduction (ala F150) may be why roofs are black in some models?
    3. Designed for RTT and racks (addressing bed cracking?)
    4. Multi-Link rear suspension on TRD, leafs on cheapo trims SR/SR5/prerunner
    5. Standard 4 wheel disc brakes (TW rejoices) w electric parking brake and brake hold (hills?)
    6. i-FORCE MAX has larger brakes and 2400w inverter (nice!) non-max have 400w inverter (zzz)
    7. electric power steering, fully boxed frame, 4" longer wheelbase
    8. all new suspensions, wait for reviews on them?
    9. Pro has fox bumps
    10. Trailhunter has OME
    11. Max Tow 6500 lb
    12. Max Payload 1709 on OR (better but still not fantastic)
    13. Aluminum tailgate, 7% more bed volume (zzzz)
    14. AT is 8 spd
    15. MT is 6 with auto rev matching and anti stall (wtf?) fairly decent specs for MT
    16. MAX specs are 325 hp and 465 torque, not bad, AT 8spd only
    17. front stabilizer bar w auto disconnect compatible with toyota lift kits (nice that option is available)
    18. Trailhunter in bed with ARB (who gives a f?)
    19. Pro is 3" wider than SR5 and has custom seat
    20. Giant ipad screen in front (f u Toyota says TW)
    21. Gone is the h key, everyone gets smart key and pushbutton start (TW rejoices except crusty old guys who like keys)
    22. No changes to bed lengths, 5 or 6' only.
    23. AC now becomes xtracab and the phoenix rises from the ashes
    24. New PreRunner and Trailhunter trims as expected, all existing trims retained.
    25. PreRunner gets locking diff
    26. Sport gets 18's and has color matched dash panels which look gaudy AF
    27. Safety s everyone expects and is not exciting for anyone on TW
    28. Limited has chrome mirror backs, WTF Toyota, are you serious?
Overall, some good news some meh news. iForce-MAX is clearly the most interesting / exciting as expected. Meanwhile, for those of us not able to afford it, 4 wheel disc brakes and better overall payload/towing with more strength and aluminum for lighter weight is forward progress but likely not in excess of price increases. Overall, nothing terribly unexpected here, nice to have the hybrid.

KC-HiLites Fog Lamps, Kicker speaker and tweeter upgrade, USB in center console, Power tailgate lock, Soundproofing, 32" lightbar
XtraCab, available on SR, SR5, and TRD PreRunner grades

This configuration has no rear doors and no rear seat but makes the most of its cabin with all kinds of additional storage options.

278 hp is plenty. Care way more about the torque. 317 is nice

I can't believe the i-force max is on the trd off road and sport models. Have to jump up to a limited on the tundra to get the max I'm pretty sure...

I hope… new bigger front brakes, new rear discs, new rear suspension, 600+lbs of extra payload, new chassis, more power = higher tow capacity :fingerscrossed:

Personally I would want a 6ft bed for towing.
