I took the whole day off tomorrow so I can dissect the reveal all day long!

not really, just happen to have the day off, and will probably be dorking out it over most of the day just because. :)

I feel like it's a little ugly in spots. The front is too wide. Does the side-panel literally stick out 8 inches on each side? lol The back looks like the frontier since the bumper is much smaller.

The interior is bad. As expected a big ole screen right in your face. I like the center console but the shifter does look like no more sequential shifting, which is a must for mountain driving.

I like the more linear shapes and the smaller grille.

Maybe it will grow on me. Maybe the milage is a big difference. Overall though, I'm not jumping to buy and I imagine it will cost more.

While some of those pictures look fake (maybe because they add filters?), I can't believe for one second that someone took all that effort to Photoshop something like this.

Thankfully the grill isn't God awful and it hasn't taken on some of the stupidly ugly styling cues of some recent Toyota offerings.

Truck looks decent but I would need more angles / pics.

That screen looks huge and the grab handle comically large.. I'll be curious to see if there is a more upright seating position - to me it certainly looks like it from the outside dimensions of the truck around the door / cab.

I mean, if we're saying that's actually it, I like it inside and out. And it can only look better with addons like bumpers etc.

Yeah I will say, the the pro looks cool and the wide side-panels will look cool with big tires and a lift. Two tone is cool too, but again, not going to be on most models.

To me, it looks like a Gen-3 with a fat front, smaller back, and linear stamping. I'm trying to compare side-by-side and the only thing that stands out is the grille, side-panels, and rear bumper. The side profile, window shape, stance is basically identical. Maybe tomorrow I'll change my mind.

That's what it looked like at first, but reading further down, they'll still have it. The trailhunter appears to be the "modded" overland version of the OR

If it's all legit, I'd like a closer look at those TH wheels . . . can't quite tell if they're a loose take on the "bullet hole" style or something else, but I like that big "dish" in the middle.

Gah, Spoiler alert! Oh well, i'm still staying up late for the reveal (i'm hoping for pricing reveal too). Aside from the awkward looking rear window size on the crew cab, it looks quite good.

"The all-new 2024 Tacoma will go on sale later this year with i-FORCE MAX models arriving in early 2024. Manufacturer’s suggested retail pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale dates."

I don't notice a regular Parking Brake (Hand Brake), so l guess it's electric one.

P brake is most likely one of the two buttons in front of the console knob. Not sure if that's the transfer case switch or drive mode selector.

Thanks! Good to see it remains a true access cab.

    Ha! True that!

There was an ACSB Sema concept, so at least one does exist!

Remember when the 3G came out, found it quite garish, 4G makes it look tame. It is a bit trying too hard. I like it, but don’t have the urge to run out and buy one. Lots going on in that sheet metal. Took me 6 years to warm up to the 3G, and still think the grill is effin’ ugly. Ha!

So much hate for the 3rd gen was on here. I loved it and snagged one of the Fall 15 allocations. This one I’m more conservative and realize it’s definitely over designed despite looking very cool, and probably more than I want to spend and with todays rates and economy, I’ll keep no payment and let you all work out the bugs, but I also have Taco ADD.

That console grip with the the molle-looking crap has a cringe-level tactical bro look. I hope its easily removable.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
As I predicted.no v6, ( I’m ok with that, 4 cyl. now a days can deliver up/tq. And are reliable AF),FR sway bar disconnect, no FR locker but improved A-TRAC. Hopefully the different mapping options allow for more aggressive front diff behavior. I’m not a fan of leaks but I totally get why all the content creators are dropping the material.
