Lol well influencers are certainly not going to bash it, going to say it’s the greatest thing to stay in graces with the Toyota gods. I’m also in the camp of not vibing it. Don’t like the body lines very mini tundra like.. too geometric and way to many buttons and knobs and the push button way up there. I prefer the simplicity of 3rd gen personally.. give me wireless careplay and there’s nothing else that screams I must have this. Also, the auto tailgate is so gimmicky to me can’t bother opening a latch and shutting it?

Some of this stuff that is bound to break is totally unnecessary like the power tailgate. Come on, how lazy have we become.

Oh....that's Pinal County. They don't enforce that law here in Maricopa County

Just kidding, I don't know whether they do in Maricopa county or not. But I was not aware of that so thanks for sharing

Taco owners rejoice! Rear windshield defroster!! Biggest new feature by far in the new trucks. We can all rest easy now!

If you put absolutely nothing down, it’ll probably be even more. But who would do that…a lot of people I bet

I was very surprised by this but I guess it makes since. They probably sell way more double cabs and whoever had an access cab probably rarely used it to haul people so they just said we will get rid of the door and make it just for storage cause that all people do with it anyway. Probably just as fast to flip the seat out of the way as it is to open the door and close it and then open the driver door to get in.

That’s what I’m saying it already is dampened.. totally unnecessary. My garage door opener just gave out and had to replace.. same concept and something I prob would never use honestly.. never even got use to SUV’s that have that feature and anything remotely in the way and it won’t shut.

Wonder if you can drop and raise the tailgate while moving? :stirthepot:

Frame mounted sliders and skids that extend to the transfer case. Also note the exhaust tip dumping before the axle.

The fender flares on the TRD Pro is shiny black plastic. Looks pretty fugly but the Trailhunter has matte plastic fenders which looks way better.

Edit: Also wonder how the build quality is. I saw in an sr5 Tundra and the plastics on the inside felt so cheap and creaky, I thought I was in a Ford Edge.

From the videos I watched alone I thought it looked higher quality. I could tell the Tundra was cheap looking just from videos, so I do hope the quality on this is better

Because the Bronco has it, so Toyota had to copy it. Now the passenger gets two handles (one on the console, one on the A-pillar) while the driver gets no handle.

Those were preproduction fender flares. No grain yet. One of the last things they usually do to the injection molds.

So now that we know 100% it using the 2.4l turbo and an 8 speed....the Lexus nx350 also uses this engine and an 8 speed. It rated for 22 city and 29 highway. How close do you think the Tacoma will get?? 20/25??
