    Good morning everyone!
    Welcome first to all the newcomers that I missed greeting .
    It's been a while since I've posted...just a lot been going on with my dad's health, taking care of their property, busy at work, and now the kitchen renovation which started Wednesday. Carpenter is very good, thorough, and meticulous about keeping dust down & cleaning up afterwards every evening. Renae & I are heading to Myrtle Beach in the morning for a week in the morning. She just can't handle the house in disarray and workers coming in & out constantly. So for her sanity's sake(& therefore mine) I'm taking her away from it all. Most everything will be finished except countertops when we return.

    We were in our early stages back in January. The problem was that the cabinets were delivered mid-March but the carpenter couldn't start til May 17th. Since we have no garage for storing, the living room and foyer have been packed to the ceiling with cabinet boxes for two months :rolleyes:

    That does not sound like fun. The end result will be worth it.
    I'm hoping that the timing of everything with our kitchen works out. My neighbor will be building the cabinets. I'll be helping with the demo, building and installing cabinets.
