With stock fitting 33s they must have made lots of room. Tacodamus says: 35no trim and 37s you loose the mudflaps.

In one of the videos of the overland one if looks like the front arch has more clearance front to back than the rear.

But those ulgy suspension seats. So help the person with knees that sits in the rear.

Just stop by Taco Bell before a trail run and turn on the ventilated seats. The rear passengers will be gassed unconscious in no time

Xtra Cab would be a cool build if it can be configured with OR equipment (rear locker, MTS). Probably 300 lbs lighter than 3rd gen without the cab reinforcements needed for the access doors, and aluminum body panels.

No 2WD for Canada. Xtra Cab availability is said to be later in 2024: http://media.toyota.ca/releases/2024-toyota-tacoma-is-the-ultimate-adventure-machine

Looks like the Xtra Cab will be available in 4WD up to the SR5 trim, based on what will be offered in the US:

Anyway, all armchair talk as I don't expect to replace either of my vehicles for many years. My truck has less than 43k on the odometer after Ardbeg.

I grew up with consoles. anything more than 4 buttons on either side becomes confusing

as i use my Logitech G600 with 12 buttons on just the thumb side...

My work Ram has track skip and volume control on the rear of the wheel. I find that to be the optimum layout
