My nicely equipped 22 TRD Off Road DCSB 4X4 msrp was a little over $42k. I'd expect the 2024 version of the same vehicle to be over $50k. Will be hard to get, no dealer inventory other than heavily marked up msrp units. 12 month order backups at a minimum. It's a good thing I really like my 2022 but I might throw my hat in the game in a couple years when the hype settles a bit.

A quick search of comparable s like the 2023 GMC canyons that are reasonably priced are listed around $50-$55k so I suspect that’s where most of these will land after options. I can see the Pro models and some others going over $60k

I would agree though it seems to align with the market equity between midsize and fullsize trucks. Full size trucks and SUVs are pushing into the 70s and higher optioned models are in the 80s so by comparison 50-60k for a midsize seems about right.

Personal opinion is that these trucks are priced too high.

And that is $2k more than I paid 24 months ago for a fully loaded TRD Offroad DCLB. Paid full MSRP.

The 2022 Tundra was 2k-8k more than the 2021 model vs model if I am remembering correctly. They also have all gone up another 1k-2k since then. I dont think the 2024 Tacoma price wise will be anywhere close to the 2023 Tacoma model for model. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Much like KBB when trading or selling anything, those figures are made up and do not matter at all.

Yes, but OP posted pricing with no source at all. Here's another "possibility" - who knows? No one.

Totally agree with you, if I could get a TRD Pro at MSRP for $49,000 I'd jump all over it.

I am thinking the new pro will start in the low 50's (not including DHS). I am probably way off though.

Well said. Considering I've be laughed at every time I've tried to get KBB value for a trade in, I don't have much faith in these MSRPs.

The 2022 OR started at $36,xxx so no way there will only be a $1500ish price increase.

Before thanksgiving that's when I was told, I asked for priority on a trd pro or trial hunter. Ordering should start soon when it's officially released on pricing.
But I would recommend if you're even considering the 4th gen, then definitely get on that list if possible because I called the dealership owner at 8 am today, and he texted me now saying the list is getting packed.
