Picked up a Tactile Knife Co. Maverick recently

 

Snagged this at work today with a gift card. Its replacing my old Kershaw. If they had the same Kershaw in stock I'd probably have kept same same. But I'll give benchmade a shot

Accidentally washed my original 945...so got another one and took the black blade from the 945BK and put it in the washed scales of the 945.

its my first time posting so I may have done something incorrectly.

 

Couple new ESEE knives. On the right top the ESEE 4 in desert tan that showed up just today. The Izula 2 in OD green I’ve had for a few weeks and it’s a sweet little blade. Its hand made leather sheath also arrived today. Leather sheath fever is real. I have one on order for the 4, but then somebody needs to stop me. Can’t recommend Patriot Leather’s stuff enough. Top notch quality. I mean kydex has its benefits but leather is just chef’s kiss. They achieve a nice snug fit too.

 

Hell yeah. Having a couple hotel beers with my everyday beater.

I have been looking for a leather sheath for my BK18. I can’t seem to find on Patriot Leather’s website.

 

Top of the website: menu icon>Shop>knife sheaths>Becker knives>select a sheath design you like and see if it’s compatible with the BK18

Mine is The Founder model sheath but several of them can be made to fit various models, since each one is hand made from scratch.

New knife. My first from Otter Messer, but definitely not my last.

 

Going to be my last new knife for a while. Bought myself and Mom ESEE Candiru knives. I already gave hers a clean navy blue handle wrap with gutted 550 cord so it lays nice and flat for her hand. Maybe just one more leather goodie to follow, for good measure. And yeah, hers is the purple one

 

Wanted better lighting for these so I waited to take a picture this morning. I did mine first and I want to redo it. Mom’s turned out clean. I like to think this is a form of arts and crafts Ron Swanson would approve of.

*edit* had to give mine a redo and clean up the wrap.

 

I may get roasted for this question but does anyone know of someone that makes an Italian style stiletto that isn’t a cheap dull toy and not crazy expensive?

Speaking of Italian knives, I bought a Viper that I'm sure I posted about but to follow-up, I've been carrying it a lot lately and it's stood up well. Really nice piece.
