Not too sure yet, she would prefer a small crossover but she isn't too picky which means I get to pick (mostly). As a family vehicle I'm thinking either the new Honda pilot because it comes with a naturally aspirated v6 with similar specs to the current gen tacoma. Or jeep grand Cherokee. Haven't landed anywhere just yet on the new family car.

Right, the financing at 1.9% I couldn't pass up. For the amount I paid in interest it was worth it to me to save the cash. Now that interest rates are climbing a low rate will be a requirement for me to entertain a new purchase, otherwise I'll just wait until they have an incentive.

NA is solid, but I'm not sure if the Pilot has a CVT. I personally hate CVTs, so if I were looking at a small crossover I'd look at Mazda. Fairly sure all of theirs are still running actual gears, but I know lots have turbos as well. Pick your poison I suppose. I will say that the Mazda design language tickles my fancy as well.

    Whoo hoo good go.

Thinking about waxing my loan as well. I think I owe like $7500 on my 2021. Depending on the bathroom remodel cost I may
get out of that cheaper than budgeted for, and will sweep leftover money against the truck and then eventually hopefully pay
it off in another few months.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I’ve had that feeling now for 10 years. Wait, that’s $333/mo saved over the last 120 months equals… Holy shit $39,960. Not a bad investment

congrats. my truck is paid off and in 2 months my car will be too - the only debt i carry will be my mortgage which i refi'd at a ridiculously low rate in '21. we are in a great deleveraging period for people who are financially responsible. very happy i buttoned up all my big ticket material needs over the last few years with these crazy low interest rates. 8% loans... no f'ing way.
