18" rims on the pro and trailhunter are too big for a midsize. Even the fullsize Raptor has 17" rims.

Anyone know the cab mount situation if the pro is able to run 33's? Or has this already been discussed here?

That's what I mean, I wonder if the new frame design allows for the fitment of larger tires without needing to cut the cab mount?

Just announced today and people asking about cab mount chops.

Best guess is that it can, since people are throwing 35's on the Tundra and Sequoia already.

It's a great looking truck IMHO. Not a fan of the ginormous screen and a few ticky-tacky things but you know, compromises.:notsure: The "+" sides to this vehicle are pretty overwhelming compared to the Turd Gen I have. I mean HP & Torque alone are enough to make me think about trading. It's so nice in fact, I'm afraid this introduction may have had a significant impact on the resale value of my '20. Not to mention if Turd owners sell off in droves to get a new one. :goingcrazy:

If the mileage is fantastic, I may be done in the 3Rd Forum pretty soon. Did I see somewhere starting price was around $56K?
That would put a well-equipped model into the $70's? Ooooff!

What's my '20 OR DCLB, Tech Pkg/Camper shell/33's/ 10K winch & BA bumper/Toytec lift worth? Any takers? Offers? :anonymous:

Even if it lives up to the hype, the pricing combined with the higher interest rates could prevent sell off in droves at least for the first year.

They are all headed this way. New GMs, RAMs, Fords all have massive Infotainment screens.

You make a good point certainly. I paid $65K for a very comfortable F250 (lemon) and that's a lot of money for me and a lot of other people. And, I would never buy a 1st year production with so many changes.

BTW: thanks for the video spot identifying ground clearance. They claim 9.5"and 11.0" running (?) ground clearance. I looked and, my '20 OR specs 9.5 with OEM tires. Mine will be higher with the 33's. The new one is not! They have essentially the same clearance with 33's as the previous models with stock tires! I suspected as much. Sure there's still some advantage with easing over an obstacle but zero gain in clearance. Not necessarily a deal breaker but, people shouldn't be thinking they're getting taller or "lifted" truck from the factory. :crapstorm:

I want to know what’s up with that large piece of plastic in the center console dividing the passenger and the shift knob? What is it’s purpose?

Its not MOLLE, its the wrong size. I mean, you could certainly weave some webbing through it, but its not PALs dimensions. Maybe AMPs compatible?

2025 will still be 4th gen. We band of brothers will have to await the 5th gen unveiling. The best gen still hasn't appeared. Maybe sometime in 2033.
