I just met a new tundra trd owner next to my tacoma this morning while loading my truck in the stores parking lot. This guy didn't seem very thrilled with the truck when I said hello, asking him how he liked it, saying it's spent more time in the shop already than he's driven it. I told him you have to admit, it's a real sharp looking truck. He just smiled, saying thats about all so far.

Sounds like it has nothing going for it. I think they look terrible.

I guess they all look good when new. I was amazed how quiet the engine runs...it's far less noisier than these v6 tacoma's. It reminded me of my brothers hybrid rave4.

It may look clean and new but aesthetically they lack, quieter sure; specs on the new tacoma most likely show it bieng just as quiet now too.

Mine makes this clank every time i'm in a rush and i drive off before letting the idle speed drop on a cold engine.. makes a hard clank in reverse and less loud clank into drive. if you can shift quick enough to skip reverse you will hear the engine surging at the time it would be changing into gear.
