In one of the videos I've watched, a guy says two of them are antennas for a wireless trailer camera.

That's fine - In a truck I'll take the torque all day.

I know it will cost a ton, but so much of what they reviewed in that walk-around are common additions because they make sense and are useful. Appreciate that they recognized the opportunity to incorporate so many things into factory options that will play well with the electronics. They're not for everyone and you can still go with a non PRO and DIY, but to be able to drive off with most of the things I've already added to my 3g is such a big step for Toyota. Still waiting on the factory 35's, though.

465 is greater than 430 right?
Horsepower is just: (torque * rpm) / 5252

35 ft/lb difference in torque, hp doesn't matter that much in trucks its mostly torque

Power = Horsepower? Maybe I'm the dumb one because when I hear 'power' I think of the thing with POWER in the name.
Also a difference of 30 pound-feet isn't that big an advantage at the crank.
    Maybe I don't know enough.

Looks blocky and oddly proportioned. Not a fan, personally.

Found some more info on the Xtracab:
"XtraCab, available on SR, SR5, and TRD PreRunner grades, is all about maximum utility and comes exclusively with seating for two, a functional rear cabin storage area, and a 6-foot bed. This configuration has no rear doors and no rear seat but makes the most of its cabin with all kinds of additional storage options. Lockable storage on the rear floor is useful for storing things like small packs, toolboxes, or a tacklebox, and lockable storage on the back panel can store things like shovels and fishing poles. Quick access to rear storage is aided by a long-slide driver’s seat with slide memory. Additionally, the passenger seat can fold flat and can be used as a workspace and includes a water bottle holder." https://pressroom.toyota.com/2024-toyota-tacoma-is-the-ultimate-adventure-machine/

I gave the formula for horsepower. Its torque multiplied by the RPM of the engine, divided by 5,252. For all intents and purposes, it’s a made up number that is derived from the torque and the engine RPM.

Bummer. I'd like to see the Access Cab config in TRD off road trim offered like my 18 with a 6 foot bed and DOORS...........Tacoma went the other way. So.......... no 6ft bed options on the higher trim 4 doors.....................Size wise, I'm happy where I am but very interested in the new design. Although now utilized often, the small bench seats work and to toss groceries, gymbag. I was hoping it would be a mini Tundra with an access cab style back door and electric window for the dog................

I think the truck looks great, was really excited to see the Pro. Power sounds good and I think the interior will look great in black. But I can’t be the only person who can’t believe those goofy seats aren’t optional on the Pro. If you’re going to try something that bold it should not be a standard feature. Looks like there will be even less leg room in the rear than there already was expected to be. I really hope the press got it wrong about them being standard.

I’ll add that none of the people invited to make videos of the truck were allowed to show the back seat of the Pro…

I want one but was laid off this year. If you know anyone that is hiring let me know so I can get one with at least an i-FORCE MAX Hybrid engine!

That is an awesome video, surprised I didn’t come across it watching every other video I could find. It still only shows the photo of the back of the seats though, which you can tell by the head rests being basically in the window that the seats are pushed up as far as possible. I’m curious to see if I can set my driving position and then still fit in the back, that’s kind of my standard leg room test. (I’m 5’10)
