Still have these fox 2.0s for cheap if any crawlers out there are looking for some droop with the archive setup.

1 1/4” on one side and a hair more on the other, without the spacer. I’ll have over 2” with the spacer, so it seems like it should be fine. I’m only worried about tire clearance for when I go up in size, down to road. Is frame and tire clearance the only driver for making 1.5-2.0” from the spring perch the optimal distance?

With tab 1.5" away from perch, that puts shock about vertical viewed from rear, plus you need clearance to leaf during articulation. I'd recommend moving the tabs per our instructions, because you're currently losing about 3/4" to 1" of tire clearance

    Hey y’all!

I recently had my relocation installed by a local Tacoma specialty shop here in Denver. I’ve taken it offroad twice and I love it, but I can’t help but wonder if I’m not getting the full articulation, and if so, what I need to do to fix it.

    - Fox 2.5
    - Deaver U402S2
    - Timbren flip kit
    - Archive HH with high clearance cross bar and shackles

I’m wondering if the issue with travel is the bump stops. In this photo the drive side was already on the bumps.

The other thing I’ve noticed, I’ve never seen that shackles when they have full swung down. I’m wondering if they’re somehow catching, but I don’t know. It’s also possible I suppose that I’m never catching it at full articulation because I’m usually driving.

Here’s a photo of the bump in case it somehow helps. Thanks!

It's the Deaver heavy duty 2 or 3 springs, they don't flex very well like light duty, and because they are longer than stock, they don't need shackle to go horizontal like OME do

Oh dang, I had no idea that the stage 2 & 3 don’t flex so well. I imagine that’s the case with all HD springs?

Does the bumps not play a role at all? Once one side hits, does it limit droop on the other? I feel like I should be able to lower my bumps a little

Yes, most heavy springs don't flex as well, which makes sense.

I've seen pics of Timbrens compressed before, but they are intended/sold as an auxiliary spring, similar Sumo springs which do totally reduce your up travel and total travel. May I suggest putting an actual bumpstop on like our Option 3 Ubolt flip

That’s the information I was looking for. Thank you! I will certainly check out option 3.

Fox 2.5x14 currently with icon stage 3 leaf pack. Plan on doing 63 leaf in near future. 315/70r17 on 3.5 bs wheels, kisses the shock body right now.

That is a lot of droop. Probably using all of the 14" shock, so not sure 64" springs will add more travel with 14" shock

315s with 3.5" BS do need a little spacer.
285s with 3.5" BS are said to clear without.

Thanks, I was surprised as much being the icon 600lb stage 3 leaf configuration.

I scanned through the thread and it looks like only one other person is running this wheel and they never followed up: what kind of spacer am I looking at for a 16x8 -12mm (4.03") wheel running 315/75R16?

It'll probably be on 12" shocks (the Accutune King 5A kit) unless they can source me the 2.5x14's to substitute. I must have more money than sense because I'm thinking of replacing my Fox 2.5 RRs.

I think you'll need 1.25" spacer for that combo

Thanks for the quick reply, appreciate it. That's about what I thought.

I'm already running your hangers and crosstube with the accutune u-bolt flip and bump stop kit. I think I'll switch over to your U-Bolt Flip with bumps (option #3) or maybe try to bring myself to commit to some air or hydros and then commit to an order...

We can switch to 14" shocks for that kit, just need to make sure you can cycle that much shock. Often times there are other limiting factors and 12" rear shock is a great option.

If/when you upgrade that rear suspension, all you would need from us for the rear u-bolt flip kit is different height spacers. No need to replace the entire kit.

Our kit can stuff 14" Fox/King without spacing the bumpstops. The point of our relocation kit is to keep maximum bump travel while gaining all the droop you can use.

Spacing bumpstops should only be needed when shocks with excessive collapsed length are used in stock mounting points.

 Just a suggestion if more up travel was wanted when switching to your relocation kit which is in our stage 5 kit. We can piece something together, save some $.
