Really digging my camper shell! Waited about 6 1/2 weeks for it to come in. I added a shelf inside of it and it came in clutch for a trip I went on.

    Thanks!

It was Christmas 2021 and the bed lights & bed mat were my gifts from my wife.

Truck was about 7 months old so the bed liner was still clean/shiny!

That and it was a cold night.

The SaBellCo was in March of 2022 and my grass looks patchy.

When I see all the goodies, I want it, but I also know a lot of it is expensive options that I wouldn't spend the money for (I can't imagine the price of a loaded Trailhunter).
Being content with what I have is good for me.

What are you using to mount the Auxbeam unit in the engine bay? I currently have the BA80 that I'm searching for mounting options. Haven't found a tray that will accommodate the unit and breaker, without drilling into the fender, etc. Thanks for any advice

Got impatient and installed my new grille before I can install my new bumper. I was actually just looking at the lightbar electrical and before you know it...

I cut my exhaust off for clearance and appearance :)

Had to drop the spare to get better access with the grinder and still ended up butchering the cut haha :sawzall:

I bought this 3d printed one from Etsy. It's made by a forum member.
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/125656...allery-1-2&frs=1&cns=1&organic_search_click=1

Then I ordered some longer battery cables (30" and 16") from here as the ones included with the auxbeam ar800 kit have the wrong terminal size for the positive battery cable and were a little short. You'll want 5/16 or 3/8 terminal ends. I ended up using the included auxbeam ground cable as the 4wg version was a little too big to fit with the 4awg positive cable in the tray opening.

I fabricated my own Auxbeam engine bay mount.
    It's pretty easy to make.
I used 1/8" 3003 Aluminum, which bends easily.
You just need a jig saw, file, drill, and vise (a vise brake makes the bends look better)

I got the aluminum from Grainger since there is one near my house but I'm sure local metal shops would carry sheets of 3003 as well. Cost $35 and there is enough material to make 3 mounts so you can either screw up worry free or make some duplicates to sell.

Nicely done! My only suggestion would be to put a grommet in the hole where that short red POS wire goes through the plate. If that cuts through the insulation, it would be a spectacular short! (I had an old Jeep Cherokee and the fuel injectors were run from the hot side and grounded in the ECU. All the injectors wires made a sharp 90-deg bend over a sharp metal cover. On wire finally cut through and shorted the injector 'on'. That was fun trying to trouble-shoot.)

I need help with a get home bag. I tend to combine edc items with a go bag. My trauma kit is from NRR and it’s called the patrol kit and it is just behind my drivers seat. Didn’t know if the heat from under the cover would ruin anything

I used a deburring tool on every edge and hole on the plate, the hole has rounded edges on both sides and is completely smooth.
If it ever shorts I'll make a new wire with shielding.

I keep a large med kit in my Pelican case in the bed. It also holds spare ammo, some towels, jumper cables, etc..
This is the case I got https://www.pelican.com/us/en/product/cases/cargo/bx80

It has a mount that locks it in the back of the bed, and the top also can be locked.

Would that fit under a cross bin?
