Many of you have commented on this bottle, I haven’t had this particular Michter’s but I really enjoy the US Whiskey and the Bourbon so thought I’d give this a go. I haven’t tried many sour mash styles, Clyde Mayes was the last I remember, but I like this one. Also, seem to find this at all the spots I frequent - maybe it’s a different bottle that is harder to find?

 

Bowman has been MIA in my area for a while, found this in Atlanta for $29 luckily.

 

The other one that I rarely see is the American Whiskey. The Sour Mash is allocated in some counties in my state.

 

Welp, looks like Ace Ventura was delivering packages today. One didn’t make it.

Good trip this week up to Kentucky. The main reason was to get my 5 Keys Club personalized engraved cup from Stitzel Weller:

 

Dammit man! I still need to have our TW cup picked up.

 

Left town at midnight to arrive by 7:30 am and get in line at Buffalo Trace. Even 1.5 hours early there was 26 people ahead of me in line. There must’ve been 400 people in line by the time the doors opened. Got the day’s allocation of EH Taylor then headed over to Bulleit for an Old Fashioned:

 

Oh crap, I thought another guy was getting it? I could’ve snagged it…
