I just quoted my 3rd gen from carmax vroom etc.
Best offer I got for a '22 DCLB with 11k miles is $39k.

I guess I will keep her instead of "divorcing" her
and get a 4th gen as a second truck. Loss aversion is real

I'm afraid so, I'll probably justify having 2 trucks by turning the 3rd gen into a camping rig by putting a bed rack and roof top tent, hence the bed is not usable for hauling oversized object

then I justify getting a 4th gen with 6 ft bed for hauling needs. We'll see, the dream combo would be TRD OR with 6MT and 6ft bed.
Gut feeling tells me that ain't gonna happen and only 5ft bed for double cab, or xtracab and 6 ft bed with 6MT

Has anyone found information on how the top trims Pro and Trailhunter are 3" wider? I am assuming this is solely from control arm length, which means these trucks should have more travel as well. Doubt they have offset wheels or simply wider fenders.

Always enjoy solid threads on TW like this. Looking forward to forum member experiences with the Gen 4 as they come in. Just put new seat covers on the 17, so I am good. In all seriousness though, I spent 37,000 on my off road and it only has 80,000 miles on it, so Toyota saved me tens of thousands of dollars today. Feel like I just paid myself 50 grand or more.

I think it's just the pro. But curious as well.

On another note, at least there isn't any piano black in the interior! Not from what I can see anyway.

A lot of markup talk here. If I want to be patient I can’t just order a 2024 Tacoma for MSRP?

The second I can get one for under msrp is when I pull the trigger. I have about 200k miles left in my 2nd gen, and I love the truck, so I am patient. It may be a little while to wait.

I had my Achilles reattached in January, year long recovery, a grab handle would be nice.

I find them *occasionally* doing nationwide searches. But they are either a) chocked full of $10k+ of options, or b) barely any at all and I was looking for only about 3 specific ones.

Washington state has them fairly basic pretty often if I recall correctly.

Strange. I find tech makes thing simpler/easier. Not having to carry a metal key fob that bulges from my pockets for instance.
