Haha I forgot I had drafted that sentence yesterday. Uhh two kickers for upfront and a full wiring kit all from Crutchfield. Already got a nice Pioneer amp that I found for sale.

Btw, their customer service was next level for me. I was chatting with one of their techs Mulligan about what I was going for and he took over my shopping cart and got everything I was gonna need. There’s a lot more to car audio than I thought so Mulligan was a huge help.

Also ordered some 100mil Kilmat sound deadener off Amazon today for the doors for when I get around to doing the job.

@Logans2001 how did you get your filler neck out?
It looks like it's all 1 peice and just catching on the frame and Fender well.

Also... fuck that pump plug! What a pita to un clip.

    Edit: :bananadead:
    20230519_142644.jpg

These pads don't look oem. Some dense rubber for vibration isolation.
Something tells me this will be a discovery of another cheap part the PO put on the truck if so.

I actually took the bed off so I did the job quite differently. Gas tank stayed in place.

Haha I have over 200# of shit in and on my bed. That wasn't happening.

When I do my flatbed I'll be sure to upgrade the pump.

Decided on the denso since I didn't want to wait a week or pay 50$ for shipping.

Just picked up a new filter, filter clip, rubber padding and gasket from Toyota.

So I'm thinking of trying something I saw on this forum and now can't find...... I'm gonna try plastidipping these wheels a bronze color to try and tie in the graphics on the side of the truck in. I love those stupid graphics hahaha
Anyone have a picture similar to this idea?

Pulled the door card off my passenger door and added 2 more sheets of Killmat, crimped a new speaker pigtail, and put in my new Kenwood 6.5.

Also pulled out my mini toolbox in the bed because it was squeaking like crazy and driving me nuts lol

    Good news everybody!

    She runs again!
And I didn't puncture a tire on my last trip.

Fuel pump was the issue. Fucking mint!
Thanks everyone for the advice and support.

So nice when you fix something and it works again.
Now maybe I can move on to those 63s and archive hangers.

I instantly bought these after you posted them. Received today and can confirm the handle portion is all metal. The base bucket for lack of a term is plastic but the actual handle(main area if failure) is metal.

No idea. I never got those ones either. But my passenger side in died so needed handles anyways. No regrets so far but need to get them installed.

You going to leave them black or paint them?
    Says they are "paint ready"
Wondering if the finish is good as is.
And for the pair they are the same price as the pair of Amazon t1a ones.
