look at Tundra for reference, Pros were marked up $10-$20k during the first few months
now if you are willing to travel, you can easily find Tundra Pros at MSRP

I think Tacoma situation will be similar, just wait a year or two or find an MSRP dealer that honors first come first serve and get on the waitlist

I think we have 2 kinds of headlights in the 4th gen

    • A premium grade headlights with sequential turn signal and LED DRL (see Limited, Pro, Trailhunter)
    • A lesser grade headlights with halogen turn signal (also same bulb half voltage as DRL)
below is a picture close up on a TRD Sport with the said lesser grade headlights
    Screenshot 2023-05-19 at 10.28.36 PM.jpg

you can see the halogen amber bulb there

and this is how it looks as DRL
    Screenshot 2023-05-19 at 11.05.45 PM.jpg

On the premium grade, that area should just be an empty space with no lights, both high beam low beam should be in the same projector housing

You just need to find the right dealer. I found two in my area that do MSRP, even on the Pros.

The dealership I do business with does straight MSRP, and by the time these actually get delivered, maybe less.

Ah I see that now, looks like the flares are wider be an inch or so. Actually, upon putting these images side by side, the rims on the TRD PRO have something like a -12 offset or so which explains the width. Still pretty cool that those are 33"s and they don't rub, otherwise they wouldn't have produced it like this.

FWIW, those pictures are all renders anyway, so may not be the exact position/fitment on the wheels/tires, etc. For instance, if you zoom in on all the tires they all say Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position, which they are clearly not.

@BurlyJim the fender flares also like a bit shorter near the front bottom. It also looks like the bumper has somewhat of a viper cut, probably to avoid any rubbing with the 33s. I am also a a little hesitant to think that the TRD Offroad trim will come with an air dam. Hopefully the Offloads will sit higher than that the picture shows.

These are renders, but the real life versions show the same offsets. Was hoping they would give the pro a slight bit of long travel action haha

Side note, interesting how there are more differences in design cues between the TRD OR and the PRO with this generation like the front bumper viper cut, the seats (not being just pro stitching), and the blacked out roof and pillars. They are definitely trying to push people to upgrade to the PRO.

I remember people cussing him out for not restocking on 2nd Gen items when he focused on designing 3rd Gen upgrades.

Why would the Iforce Max have slightly less tow capacity than just the Turbo engine ?
Slighter heavier due to batteries so lower GVWR ?

So are there any official pics of the off-road yet? Hopefully it has matte plastic wheel fenders like the 3rd gen or at least color matched if painted. Those gloss black ones on the pro just don't look right IMO.

    @It's a TRD Thang

I stand corrected, then. Thank you. That's great news. I couldn't handle that red. It's just not for me.

You know, one random thing i've been thinking of is that in a world where everything is going to smaller displacement with a turbo (and hybrid), seems like the market for superchargers is going to continue to dwindle. I had a TRD supercharger on my first gen. It was fun and unique for sure, but they were MUCH less expensive back then. I see a fire sale in Magnuson's future.

You brave souls that want to buy one, have at it. Let us know how you like ‘em. I’m gonna wait till the 25’s come out.

They do look cool, and I like the colors.
